| ed into the front and rear valances. It serves the function of being resiliant to rocks and debris kicked up @ it from the wheels and road surface. To remove it you would have to sand it off to the bare metal and repaint the area. Any paint chips and nicks will be A LOT more apparant and will prob. cause metal to be exposed which can lead to rust formation. KaZ was one of the first to do this on his TT about 1.5 years ago and it's already showing its age in those places behind the fenders and along the bottom where it takes the most abuse. My advice is remove at your own risk.
